FAQs

What makes the Type 7100 a precision regulator?

The Type 7100 utilizes a force-balanced control mechanism that provides stable, repeatable pressure regulation with excellent sensitivity and minimal supply pressure effect.

What applications are best suited for the Type 7100?

The regulator is commonly used in calibration equipment, analytical instrumentation, laboratory systems, air gauging, leak testing, and other applications requiring precise pressure control.

Why is sensitivity important in a precision regulator?

High sensitivity allows the regulator to respond quickly to small pressure changes, improving control accuracy and maintaining stable outlet pressure.

How does the Type 7100 maintain pressure stability?

Its precision control mechanism continuously compensates for changes in inlet pressure and downstream demand to maintain consistent output pressure.

When should I choose the Type 7100 over a general-purpose regulator?

The Type 7100 should be selected when pressure stability, repeatability, and regulation accuracy are critical to process performance, testing accuracy, or product quality.
