Air filter regulators (AFRs) are crucial components in a pneumatic system, ensuring that the compressed air is clean, dry, and properly regulated. They remove contaminants, regulate pressure, extend equipment life, and enhance system efficiency, which are all essential for maintaining high-quality output and reducing costs.
ControlAir Air Filter Regulators (AFRs) combine an air filter and a regulator into a single, convenient unit. These devices are vital for air preparation, protecting sensitive downstream equipment. AFRs are designed to remove solid and liquid contaminants from the air while providing consistent and accurate pressure regulation to instruments, valves, and other automatic control equipment.

Features and Options available with ControlAir Air Filter Regulators include:
Automatic Drain Option: automatically flush out condensate waste liquid when a change in air flow occurs or when the supply pressure is reduced. The automatic drain option helps prolong the life of the regulator and filter by preventing corrosion on the bottom of the regulator and reducing the load of the filter.
NACE Compliant: meet NACE #MR-0175 material required for sulfide stress cracking.
1/4″ NPT, 1/4″ BSP, 1/2″ NPT and 1/2″ BSP ported versions. Stainless Steel Construction: Ideal for sour gas and/or corrosive environments. Oversized valving helps the units achieve high flow rates with minimal pressure drop.
