Description

Overview

The Type 1000P Electro-Pneumatic Precision Pressure Regulator is a compact, closed-loop servo system designed to convert an electrical command signal into precise pneumatic output pressure. The regulator uses two solenoid valves, an internal pressure sensor, and electronic controls to continuously adjust pressure and maintain the commanded setpoint.

One solenoid valve controls inlet flow while the second controls exhaust. The internal pressure sensor measures the output and sends feedback to the electronic controls, allowing the Type 1000P to automatically correct deviations and maintain stable pressure as operating conditions change.

The Type 1000P is available with five input signal options, including analog voltage, current, and RS485 Modbus communication. Multiple monitor output selections allow users to track actual pressure remotely, making the regulator well suited for precision automation, test equipment, and process applications that require accurate pressure changes and continuous pressure monitoring.

The Type 1000P provides precise, repeatable pressure control by continuously comparing actual output pressure with the electrical command signal and adjusting the inlet or exhaust solenoid valve as required.

How to Select the Right Configuration

Selecting the correct Type 1000P configuration depends on the required pressure range, electrical input, monitor output, communication method, porting, display units, and mounting arrangement.

  • Select the 0-30 psig range for low-pressure precision control applications.
  • Select the 0-60 psig range for general industrial automation and test equipment.
  • Select the 0-120 psig range for higher-pressure pneumatic control.
  • Choose 4-20 mA for standard industrial current-loop control.
  • Choose 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC, or 0-10 VDC when a voltage command signal is available.
  • Choose RS485 Modbus when digital communication and system integration are required.
  • Select a monitor output that matches the PLC, controller, or data-acquisition system.
  • Select BSP porting when required by the pneumatic piping standard.
